Happy weekend, friends! Today, Brandon and I will be heading down to Little 5 Points, Atlanta for #RecordStoreDay. Criminal Records is doing a big thing and DJ Jelly goes on at 3pm and we’re not missing him (#bigfans). I’m sure we will both be sharing IG Stories so check in with us @ashleyfromfbl and @brandonbreaks sometime around then.
Sunday we will be hanging out at home trying to rearrange some furniture to make room for our new dining room table (coming soon!). We are moving our home office into our spare bedroom to try to free up space in the living room. It’s a big thing but we’ve been putting it off and it’s finally time to get it done.
We’ve been wanting a new dining room table forever and kept putting it off until we buy a house. We’re in the house buying process right now but I found a table that I loved so much I couldn’t resist it. It’s going to be a little cramped in the dining room until we move but I’m happy with the table and know it will be with us for a long time. Of course, I’ll share it on the blog along with some of my favorite tabletop decor and DIY’s. I’ve been wanting to share a lot of my tablescapes with you for a long time but without a real table it hasn’t been an option.
For now, here are a few of the links I loved last week. Happy reading!
1 // Simply Stine’s post about spring cleaning. I think I enjoyed it because she loved the same vacuum I did and I was able to say, “I told you so!” because it really is that great. You can read my review here.
2 // These slow cooker meals you can meal prep from The Everygirl. I don’t often use my slow cooker, especially in the sumer, but these are fantastic.
3 // This classic baked macaroni and cheese from Southern Bite. It seems that are a million ways to make mac and cheese but a good classic dish is always my favorite.
4 // This amazing trip to Helsinki that Rachel from Small Town & City Lights shared on her blog. I love her travel recaps!
5 // Lauren Conrad’s information about starting an herb garden especially since Brandon and I have been doing a lot of talking about gardening lately.
That’s it for this week. I didn’t as much time as normal for blog reading but I did love those.
Now, I’m off to prep and get ready for Record Store Day!
