Weekend Links #15

Weekend Links Volume 15

I have a whole lot of nothing on the calendar for this weekend. We have options, but no commitments. I want to do a little bit of shopping for another photo shoot I have coming up next week with Kelly Broyles Photography. I also want to spend some time poolside because if that last photo shoot taught me anything it’s that I’m way too pale. I mean, MY GOD! I’m also hoping to get the chance to stop by Black Sheep Burrito and Brews because International Beer Day is next week and that’s a place on my must-see list. If I get the chance to go I’ll feature them next week

We may go to a barbecue at a friend’s house on Sunday, that depends on the weather. It’s supposed to rain all weekend and clear up by Monday (isn’t that always the way?) so I suppose we’ll see. In any case, our new washer + dryer arrived from Lowe’s so if the weather keeps us indoors at least we can get our laundry done. I might even wash the dog blankets if I’m feeling ambitious. 😉  We have been really focused on building our home now that we’re getting settled in. Our new sectional arrived from Hayneedle, we are expecting curtains soon from Pier1, and with our new appliances it’s finally coming together. Yay!

It’s no wonder I’ve been focused on home hacks and decor this week. Here are just a few of the things I’ve found that I think you’ll love too.

Weekend Links

1 // I love this laundry room printable from The Cottage Market but Brandon does the laundry around here. He told me to keep my hands off the laundry room and he’ll do with it as he pleases. *Sigh* It would look so cute in there!

2 // This Japanese Cob Home from From Moon to Moon is gorgeous! I have serious countertop envy. I keep telling Brandon when we buy a house (which it feels like we’ve been talking about forever), I want wood countertops.

3 // Skunkboy Blog shared inspiration for more in-home greenery and I’m all over it. Just a few days ago I brought fresh citronella and flowers in for a new kitchen centerpiece. It’s gorgeous and I need more of it.
