Weekend Links volume 13 from Far Beyond Love

Hi Friends! This weekend Brandon and I are exploring Charleston, WV because I want to check out Taylor Books, he wants to browse Sullivan’s Records, and I’m sure there’s a new restaurant calling our names. I absolutely have to get down to Sugar Pie Bakery because I’ve been following them on Instagram and I can only resist for so long. I’ll recap the new places soon but for now, make sure you hop over and check out my IG stories for a peek into our weekend.

We’re finally starting to settle into our new place. We had new furniture delivered from Hayneedle last week and we’re starting to find our groove. Every place is what you make it and we’re trying hard to make this home. It’s been a big adjustment but we’re finding our rhythm. 🙂 I think the new furniture and new routines has been a big help. I’ll be sharing more about that on the blog soon. For now, let’s do weekend links!

Weekend Links

1 // Paper N Stitch shared cool spots to eat, drink, and shop in Richmond, VA. That’s only a few hours away as well so maybe road trip #2?

2 // 13 fabulous Chattanooga coffee shops are featured on A Thought & A Half. I fully endorse #2 on her list. The one time I went to Chattanooga we visited there. I need to go back asap, that little city is awesome!

3 // Hand Luggage Only gave me all the travel envy feels! I spotted this post about European castles and am now motivated more than ever to get my butt across the pond!

4 // Pender & Peony shared pictures of her trip to the lake. It reminded me of our trip to Lake Lanier, Georgia. There are tons of lakes and cabin rentals up this way. I’m thinking September might be the perfect time for a lakeside getaway.

5 // The Washington Post did a travel feature on Charleston, WV, which I loved! People don’t give my new home enough credit. It’s revitalizing in a big way and the CVB here is doing all it can to attract visitors. You should come and check us out.

6 // The Travel Hack featured 5 Canadian road trips which caught my eye. Brandon has always wanted to road trip through Canada. Now, don’t mind me while I bust out my travel journal and map. 😉

Now, to catch up on my Instagram week in review! I’ve gotten a lot more into Instagram lately, especially the stories and IG Live video. I’m doing FB Live every Mon / Weds / Fri but I’m followig up on IG Live just after. So far, so good. Still, here are some of the pics you may have missed.
