My Spring Dining Room Inspiration Board

Update your home with the seasons and embrace bright colors this spring. I've been searching for beautiful new pieces for my spring dining room inspiration board.

I recently told Brandon that I want to be better about decorating our home with the seasons. As soon as I did I sat down and put together this spring dining room inspiration board. I love seeing other people’s homes transition from spring to summer to … and I never do that. Other than a few things here and there our home basically looks the same year round. I love to pin home decor items. I favorite them, bookmark them, and save the blog posts. I dream but I don’t execute. I know it’s kind of a change of pace from my previous mindset about keeping things simple and clean. I just want to try new things with our home.

I’ve spent a lot of time window shopping lately for our home, particularly our dining room. We just ordered our new dining room table and I’m looking forward to decorating new tablescapes and using seasonal dishes. What I’m really looking for are pieces that can transition from spring into summer so I’m looking at florals, fruits, and clean colors.

One of things I dislike about our current apartment is how small the kitchen is. There isn’t a lot of countertop space and I haven’t baked nearly as much as I used to because I don’t have the room to leave the cakes, muffins, etc. out. I’m looking forward to cake trays and pedestals again. There’s just a lot I want to do to make our place feel like home again.

I need to infuse a little color in our place and I think a bright spring dining room is the perfect place to start. None of these items are big changes but I know they will make our place look so much nicer as we welcome the warm weather back for a change.

Update your home with the seasons and embrace bright colors this spring. I've been searching for beautiful new pieces for my spring dining room inspiration board.
