If you follow me basically anywhere on social media then you’ve likely already seen glimpses into my Stitch Fix box for this month. I loved it so much the moment I opened the box that I couldn’t resist snapping pictures to share online. I put a couple up for my Facebook community, I tweeted a couple out on Twitter, and a couple went up on Instagram as well. I haven’t had a lot of luck with Stitch Fix lately and I was thinking of cancelling the subscription box. I’ve just been really disappointed in my fixes so when I wrote to my stylist prior to this fix I said exactly that. I went in to specifics about what I liked and didn’t like from my last fixes, explained that I didn’t feel “heard”, and that I wish they’d paid more attention to my Pinterest board. Well, this month they did exactly that. I can tell, and as a result, I could have kept it all.

This month, Stitch Fix nailed it!

Want to see what I’m keeping? Here it is…

Gideon Polka Dot Sweater

Last month they sent a similar pattern as a cardigan and I returned it. It didn’t fit quite right and I couldn’t justify keeping it. This month they sent a sweater and it was insta-love! I teased it on IG and Facebook but now here it is in all it’s polka dot glory.

Verdict – Totally a Keeper!

Adorable! I love the Gideon Polka Dot sweater from Stitch Fix

Torrence Textured Knit Sweatshirt

Ok, so I didn’t love this the moment I pulled it out of the box but I did love it the moment I actually put it on. Y’all, it’s so soft and warm that it’s a must-keep. Granted, I won’t actually wear it with these jeans (it’s more of a skinny jeans and boots kind of sweatshirt) but it’s the most comfortable thing ever. Plus, my husband liked it so it’s a win. Notice the adorable little dog in the bottom corner, the guy who just HAD to get in on the photo action. *sigh*

Verdict – Keeping it!

Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater

As soon as I saw this sweater I knew I was going to keep it. For one, I’m a huge fan of navy / orange (as my stylist Kate noted in her message to me) and this is the softest thing I’ve ever touched. I could wear this all day, every day because it’s just that comfortable. Once I put it on I knew I wasn’t going to be taking it off. I may have actually worn this out the same night I got it just because I was that in love with it.

Verdict – Totally kept the sweater

Loren Bootcut Jean

I loved the bootcut jeans and the length was perfect (which is crazy hard for us petite girls to find) but they were just a smidge too snug in the waist. I wore them around for a while thinking maybe it was just because they were brand new, but no, they are too tight. I kept thinking, “Well, if I lose 5 pounds they’d be fine” but that’s a bad way to shop so back they had to go. Sorry cute jeans…maybe next time.

Verdict – Returned

Jackie Striped French Terry Asymmetrical Jacket

This asymmetrical jacket was a hot mess but I don’t blame my stylist, Kate, at all. I actually pinned a version of this jacket to my style board and I thought it was really cute. Now, sure, the version I pinned was a solid dark gray and this is horizontally striped but the problem isn’t the pattern. The problem is that it’s short (it barely reaches the waist of the jeans) and the front is bulky (and not in a good way). This could be really cute on someone else but it does absolutely nothing flattering for me.

Verdict – Returned and I don’t feel bad about it.

Jackie Striped French Terry Asymmetrical Jacket from Stitch Fix Oh…and here’s a picture of me with my dog just for the fun of it. He was jumping around at my feet for every single picture. He whined and cried constantly. It was pathetic really so I picked him up for one picture. Look at the fear in his eyes. You’d think with all of the fuss he caused that he’d like the attention, but no. All he did was squirm and whimper until I put him back down. Dogs…so complicated. Ashley and Wilkins
