I have shopped at ModCloth for years! It’s been at least since 2008, maybe longer, I’m not certain. I buy a lot of fun jewelry from them because their pieces are unique (and they always receive compliments) plus they are affordable so I can buy pieces, wear them for a season, then move on without feeling bad about sinking a lot of money in to an item I only wore for 5 – 6 times. I used to have a bronze Octopus necklace I wore all of the time. Everyone loved it. It was like $12 but it was a great buy!

Everything I buy from them seems to get a lot of compliments. They are just a fun store.

I buy dresses and tops from them too and I’ve had a lot of luck with their fit. I don’t bother with pants (at 5’2″ it isn’t a good idea for me to buy pants online).

In fact, the polka dot blouse I wore to Walt Disney World for my niece’s 3rd birthday was from ModCloth. Honestly though, my favorite thing about ModCloth is their fun whimsical home items. They are unique and they make great gifts!

My home is pretty clean and simple. I don’t like a lot of clutter and I don’t like to buy items just for the sake of having something. I have one of those, “A place for everything and everything in its place” homes and almost everything I have has a purpose. I have a lot of cream, brown, and blue colors. I don’t really get in to having things just because it’s “pretty” but ModCloth has a way of stealing my heart and changing my mind. I think it’s because their stuff is usually whimsical and practical which is what I really need.

A few days ago Brandon and I were talking about the holidays coming up and making our travel plans (West Virginia for Thanksgiving and Florida for Christmas) he asked about my Christmas wish list. I hadn’t really thought about one yet but I decided to sit down and piece together some things I’ve been eyeing.

Here are a few of the things from ModCloth I’m adding to my list and that I think would make great gifts for your friends and family as well.

Cute, right?

I have a lot of ModCloth in my home. They just have a lot of little things that are necessities but that also make me smile. They have the cutest welcome mats, salt/pepper shakers, hand towels, mugs, etc. You just can’t really go wrong. 🙂
