Date Night: Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt

Are you preparing to make your Valentine's Day date night plans? If you're looking for a bit of fun and adventure, I put together these great Valentine's Day scavenger hunt date night ideas for you. Go get hunting!

The scavenger hunt date night I created for Halloween went over so well last year that I thought it would be a lot of fun to create another one for Valentine’s Day. Brandon and I aren’t the expensive dinner and fancy wine kind of people when it comes to Valentine’s Day but we are always down for games and people watching. I’m sure it’s the social sciences major in me but I can sit and people-watch for hours. You could call it stalking but I prefer to call it researching societal behaviors. 😉

Just like I did with the Halloween scavenger hunts, I created multiple versions for you to choose from because some are harder than others. It just depends on whether or not you’re up for a challenge (and if you don’t mind failing – insert evil villain laugh – )

If you decide to go out on a hunt I’d love if if you’d share some of the pictures of your quest. You can share them on IG and use my hashtag #FarBeyondLove or you can post them to my Facebook page wall.

Ok, here’s the easy one (click to open the PDF version)…

Easy Valentine's Day scavenger hunt

Easy, right?

If you ask me, it’s a bit too easy but I like to give options and I know that not everyone out there prefers things as difficult as I do. The easy-version scavenger hunt is probably best if you already have plans and the scavenger hunt itself isn’t the focus of the outing. I could probably finish the first one in 30 minutes and then what do we do with ourselves?

I like the scavenger hunts that make me really hunt! I want to be on the prowl and since I already mentioned that I’m a big fan of people-watching I thought it would be fun to put together a people-watching scavenger hunt for Valentine’s Day. Just don’t get caught staring because that can be really creepy and uncomfortable. Just…be aware although some of these may require that you actually speak to people unless you’re good at eavesdropping (which I don’t recommend).

Here’s the people-watching version (click to open the PDF version)

If you enjoy people-watching you'll love this people-watching Valentine's Day scavenger hunt!

Enjoy your Valentine’s Day!

I’ll be out with Brandon, probably people-watching and checking items off of both of the scavenger hunts. I’ll be checking in via Instagram (pictures and stories) so follow me there. If you do one of the scavenger hunts, please share your pics using #FarBeyondLove so I can see!!!

What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Are you up for trying a hunt?
